Sedona Arizona... 3.5 mile geology hike.

Yesterday we headed off on a two hour journey to the Red Rock State Park.

Photo from the Visitor's Center.

We took a geology tour with a group of about 20 people.

We stood in a Wash.

The mountains were breathtaking.

We made it to 4102 feet.

YouTube Video
This was the view from that elevation.

Poor tree.

The trails were terrific!

The sun was setting as we left the park...... So glad we made the trip.

Gotta run.

Sedona is a great place, one of the best places to watch the set set is at the Enchantment Resort about 5 miles outside of town. The canyon walls turn different colors right before your eyes as you sit having your favorite cocktail. Great place!
