South Beach Miami - Part 2

My favourite part of South Beach was The Beach!!!

This was the first time I had ever seen the North Atlantic Ocean.

I was sooooo excited.

The water had a beautiful blue/ green hue.

Even though there were jelly fish in the ocean, none had washed ashore when I was exploring.

This was my only beach find.  Bummer.

Wouldn't it be so wonderful to run/ walk along this beach everyday?

Wouldn't be a beach without 'shit-hawks'.

There was a crazy storm brewing.

It never ended hitting us......... less than an hour later the skies looked like this.

I made sure to visit one last time before we left for the airport (taken in the early am).

Love, love, love the ocean.

Gotta run.

I enjoyed two NYE's at South Beach and it sure was nice to be chillin' in some warmer weather while it was cold up here. Glad you had fun!

Those must have been some insane parties! They don't do tame and quiet ;-)

The warm weather is also a welcome reprieve in the winter.

Beautiful photos! I'm glad you had such a wonderful time. I haven't seen the North Atlantic ocean yet.

I love your pup picture at the top of your blog...

Lisa: it's our favorite picture of Sadie. She loved bounding and running around. Her expression is priceless!

I can see why. She was clearly a happy dog, which makes it even more sad for you now, I know.

Nice to have that photo though. Great reminder of a good life :)
