12 miler and a "big thing"

My quest to travel to all the large roadside attractions in Ontario has been on the back burner as of late.

During my run today, I made it a point to stop by the (relatively) new roadside attraction in Amherstburg.

An Inukshuk welcomes visitors to the town.

It was a chilly day and the sidewalks were somewhat snow covered. Nice to get a bit of mileage in.... I've got to get back the conditioning I've lost over the last month.

Do you take the winter months recover or to ramp things up?

If you live in a region that experiences nice weather year round, when do you take time to recover?

Gotta run.

I usually take my time off in the summer months when it's in the 100's. Not a big fan of the heat so it kind of forces the situation on me. Not sure I could run in the bitter cold either, so it's a good thing I live down here in Texas.

Nice - but where is this located? I didn't see it when I was there - or maybe I didn't notice...

It is located on the other side of the city! (past Walmart, Mark's, etc.)
