Harley Davidson Museum.... Road Trip.

This Sunday Andrew and I will embark on our first motorcycle trip together. I must admit that I am a bit freaked out by my luggage capacity. I don't know how I am going to get 6 days worth of clothing into a bag smaller than an airplane carry on. My running gear takes up more room!

Our destination is Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We will be staying at The Iron Horse boutique hotel. They have 100 rooms that are "loft style" and actually cater to the motorcycle enthusiast. I checked it out on Tripadvisor.... no one had anything bad to say about this place.

We plan on going to the Harley Davidson Museum. I checked out the website and we could be there all day!!

We are also going to go to the Milwaukee Art Museum. If we have time we may visit a local brewery. Andrew will really enjoy that as he is a beer enthusiast and connoisseur.

I did a 7 mile run today. I am really glad that I took the extra day of recovery.... I had no knee pain or discomfort (phew!).

I want to send out some positive energy to all the people on the streets that make me smile. Today a gentleman was walking towards me. He gave me a big smile, waved like crazy, and said "hello". I smiled and said "hello" back. It is amazing how one person can make your run so much better.... and they don't even know it! Thanks to all the supportive and positive, happy people out there! You make life more wonderful for those who cross your path.

I also want to thank the people who take time out to comment on my posts. It means a lot to hear from you!

Thank You!!!

Well gee, let me be the first to thank you for those kind words to us commentors - I feel the same. Nice hotel!!! I checked out the website and I could live there - I have always liked lofts and if I hadn't done my shower in white tile I think I would do it in the black with light grout - niiiiice. And I like the new background picture - it kind of looks familiar...Enjoy your trip and ride carefully.
