101 year old marathoner retires.

Fauja Singh is absolutely AMAZING.  He will run one last marathon in Hong Kong (February 24th) before he retires.  Even after retiring he says "I will keep running for at least four hours daily after that".

Fauja ran his first marathon at the young age of 89.

To everyone out there who thinks that they couldn't possible run a marathon........ you're absolutely wrong! YOU CAN!!

Gotta run.

He was in the Scotiabank marathon in Toronto when I did it. He ran with his own entourage. Very inspiring!!

I read about him a few days ago. That's just absolutely fantastic. Most people can't imagine even being upright at that age, and here's someong running a marathon in the trips.

I read about that guy - truly an inspiration (as I turn 50 next year...and feeling it). I'm hoping to make it to 53! :)

Wow that's awesome and very inspiring! I started training for a half-marathon several months ago but then I got pregnant lol. The pregnancy was planned but I just didn't think I would get pregnant right away. After the baby is born I plan to start running again. I plan to someday run a full marathon :)

Come by and check out my blog if you want! www.thenwere3.com
