Winter Wonderland

Work has been keeping me super busy. I love learning new things, and I love the structure that working provides, but this is the first sit-down job I've had since 1994.

I have tremendous difficulty sitting in a chair for more than an hour...... I get antsy!!

I'm not sure if I've mentioned that for part of the week, we work two hours away. The company may expand to London, but we won't be setting up shop any time soon.

The company is renting us an apartment because hotel rooms would cost an arm and a leg.

I'll talk about the apartment another time...... We live like we did when we first started out in Toronto (I'm talking boxes for end tables, and mattress and box spring on the floor).

We headed up to Priceville after work Friday. The roads were horrible! It was snowing and the highway traffic was moving slower than most people jog..... No kidding!

It's the weekend, so we can chill and enjoy being nestled in the woods, sitting by the fire.

Priceville seems to be the place that feels most like home.

I guess London feels less homey because we've always got to keep it super clean for potential buyers. Too much work..... Hard to relax.

I hope that where ever you are this weekend, that you feel comfortable and at-home.

Gotta run.

True to your blog, "journey" seems to be part of you! Sounds like an exciting journey w/ lots of change.

Boxes for end tables sound just fine - kinda like "wherever you hang your hat is home"

Stay warm!

Whenever I feel antsy I go for a run. It really calms me down. Love the pictures of the Winter wonderland!

Your pictures are just gorgeous. I never get sick of seeing snow-covered everything and anything. Why does snow make everything look so pretty?
