Dirty clothes and boiled peanuts

Yesterday was laundry day.

Had put it off........ a lot to do.

Have to get used to driving somewhere to do the laundry.

We've noticed several "Boiled Peanut" stands around town.

Had to stop and try some......... Errrrrrr....... gross Not my cup of tea.

It was late in the day when we drove to the Anna Ruby falls...... The gate was closed by the time we got there. Bummer.

But, there was beautiful scenery along the way.

Today we head out to Deal's Gap in North Carolina.

Gotta see the tree of shame.

I wish I could do something like this. Maybe one day... Not sure what Boiled Peanut is but it doesn't sound like my cup of tea either.

I'm enjoying reading about your adventures. ::smiles::

Boiled peanuts become bean-like, huh?

I've never had boiled peanuts. But they sound weird. Hey, at least you tried them!

I must google boiled peanuts now. This is the first I've heard of them. I can't say they sound good. I love peanuts, too!

Boiled peanuts taste just like you think they would....... soggy squishy........ Like Green Girl says "Beans".

Just wrong in my book.

Boiled peanuts is an acquired taste!
First you acquire them.....then you taste them.

Mmmmmm........GOOD!!

I make my own here in Southern Ontario, ever since I "stole" the recipe from a manufacturer filling up the freezer with them at a road-side stand in central Florida.

Yum, yum......and, good for you.
