My recovery is coming along.... slowly. I need a routine and some structure in my life. My goal is to create and start implementing a plan. I've become lazy and am gaining weight. As much as I am enjoying the fact that I'm starting to fill out my tops again, I hate the way my bottoms fit.
Today I managed to run 4 miles in the horrible heat. I then did 30 minutes on the bike (on trainer). I'm a bit sore but still very hopeful.
I am not going to be able to run the Haliburton 50 miler this September. I'm going to focus on the basics. I think I'll start with a half marathon training plan and work my way up. I've got the Rocky Raccoon 100 miler on my wish list for 2011. Not sure if I'll have enough time.
I am going enjoy the next couple weeks with my sister and then get cracking on that plan.
