I ordered these shoes a few weeks ago.
I was so excited to have read that Nike was coming out with a trail shoe that was being made from the same running shoe I wear. I took them out of the box and they were so cute!!!! Upon further inspection, I noticed that they didn't have a protective toe cap (really needed for trail running). I don't know about anyone else, but I have a hard time lifting my legs after 40 miles of trails :) I am also kinda 'girly' .... I don't like the look of missing toe nails (so hard to hide in strappy sandals)!
So back these babies went :(
I have just purchased a pair of the GTX version of my shoe. Which should be helpful for those frozen slush puddles of snow/ice/ water that I always manage to step in! Review to follow......
Gotta run.
