I should mention that I am so thankful for the opportunity to have traveled as much as I have in the last month. Tomorrow night I leave for Las Vegas. I really love that place!
I forgot to mention that I am going to stay with the Nike runners. Why ruin a good thing?! I had to order a pair in my size... they just came in today. Unfortunately, I won't be able to pick them up until I get home. As always, I have left packing to the last minute. I am also working tomorrow so I really better get cracking!
I did a fabulous 8 mile run today! The temperature was 20 degrees (68 F). I got so swept away with my music and the feeling of freedom that the time flew by! It's great to have a run like that every now and again! Lifts my spirit!
I have been struggling with several runs and I was blaming it all on my 2 month hiatus (recovery period). I think that cardio is part of the problem but I realized that I have lost some of my confidence... my mojo! I am working on visualizing my goal and keeping positive. Today's run really helped!
