... do not wash your "Fuel Belt" bottle caps in the dishwasher! I purchased a new fuel belt last April and they went and changed the shape of the bottle... thus changing the shape of the cap/ lid. These new ones do not stand up to washing in the dishwasher!!! What is happening is that the pop-up spout is cracking from the heat of the dishwasher... causing spillage when running! Not good.
I have purchased some replacement caps and will now hand wash them! I still place the bottles in the dishwasher. I like the new fun colours of the caps but the price $12.99 CDN for 5 is kinda steep! Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that running is an inexpensive sport!!!! Yipes!!!
I think the fact that they sell replacement caps is a good indicator that the product is expected to become faulty at some point..... or possibly I never read the small print... "do not wash in the dishwasher"... tee hee
