Condition of running shoes.

I think it's safe to say that most people understand that the more run down your shoes are, the more likely they are to contribute to injury.

Unfortunately, my dad can not be classified as 'most people'.

He used contact cement and duct tape to reattach the sole on these.

"See" he says to me, "Good as new!".

Gotta smile.

Your Dad is a minimalist at heart. Nice use of duct tape.

Dad is always a source of entertainment when it comes to fashion!

My husband would do the same if I didn't get to them first and throw them away. His motto is waste not want not.

Wow. That is really funny. My dad wouldn't have done that kind of thing. He was a five new pairs of Asics UL 100s kind of guy.

I know a lot of guys and a few girls like that though. How endearingly stubborn and self assured...

I am certainly not my father's daughter in that respect!

Thanks for the link :)

Okay, in a way that's kind of cute! I mean I wouldn't choose to run in duct taped shoes, but to each his own!
