Davis Mountain State Park in Fort Davis, Texas.

During our stay at the Davis Mountain State Park, I got to see javelina on a daily basis.......... so cool.

I thought they were the cutest things ever.

They travel in a group of 6 to 9....... it is referred to as a 'Band'. There are 3 javelinas in this pic, can you spot them?

This park also had a handful of Mule Deer that roamed around the campground.

I would say that they were more curious than afraid.

There are several hiking trails. I Gotta warn you, they are very technical and not mapped out well. The trails are full of jagged, loose rocks......... not fun.......

But, worth it.

As you can see.

The next post will be about our trip to the McDonald Observatory.

Gotta run.
