Just about to head out the door for today's 20 miler (procrastinating some what). I am wearing ankle support because yesterday's run was on steeply cambered roads and my knee is paying the price for my unstable arch.
As far as the toe protectors... I think that they will be very helpful to prevent blisters. In my case, the blister was already present. My toe only started to hurt after about 20 miles. I got home and the blister was full and throbbing. Once I can get this sucker to go away, I will use the toe protectors as a preventative measure!
Gotta run.
