.. I was excited to be off running... have been taking time of for me leg to try and heal. I believe that I keep jumping back in too soon. Today turned out to be too soon as well!
Anyway, back to the run... it was only 72 F/ 22 C. I was dressed in a skort and jogger bra. Just after half way I thought I was suffering from heat stroke:) I could barely press on. I couldn't drink water as it was upsetting my stomach and my pace slowed to a turtle's crawl. I made it home and couldn't believe how exhausted I was.
Now I should have had a recovery drink as soon as I got home.... did not. I did my crunches and showered and prepared dinner. I started to feel so horrible I could only eat a small portion of my meal. I had to go to bed at 7:30 pm as I could barely keep my head up.
I didn't die or have real heat stroke as I felt better in the morning. What a horrible feeling... I hope that it doesn't happen again.
I know what you're thinking... next time walk and drink water and then have some recovery mix when you get home.... I know, I know.... my bad!
In conclusion... most of the run was good:) My knees and legs have been really giving me some trouble since so I am gonna take another break. Hopefully this will correct it and I can get on with the training already!!!!!! Geeez!
